SPSA Aims to Foster
Closer Ties With PCS
The 62nd Annual Clinical Congress of the Philippines
College of Surgeons was a tremendous success. Former
PCS Vice President, Dr. Rey Melchor F. Santos, was
elected by the College its President for 2007.

"Controversies in Surgery"
The Society of Philippine Surgeons in America is taking active steps in fostering a closer tie with its peer, the Philippine College of Surgeons in Quezon City, Philippines. Majority of the past administrations of the SPSA have pushed for such a move, which rapport they feel would be in the best and mutual interest of both organizations, whose aims are akin to each other’s.
Like last year and some others in the past, the SPSA, this year, is once again participating in the Clinical Congress of the Philippine College of Surgeons, this time to be held at the Shangri-La EDSA, December 3-6, 2006.
