SPSA Surgical Mission Slated for Ormoc City
The Society of Philippine Surgeons in America next surgical mission will be in Ormoc City, Leyte on January 20-26 2013. Congresswoman Lucy Torres has invited the group to return to Ormoc City for the second time, the first mission having been two years ago.
Dr. Manuel Cacdac, mission co-chair of SPSA has formalized the mission with the Congresswoman’s office. The proposed mission to Tuguegarao a week before the Ormoc mission has been scrapped at the request of the congressman from the district.
During the last Ormoc mission, the Society performed a total of over procedures and expects to do as many again this time.
