The Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) has fully reaccredited the Society of Philippine Surgeons in America for another four year, up to November 30, 2011, reports Ben Zamora, MD, SPSA CME Chair, who represented the Society at the reaccreditation survey in Chicago last June.
The good news as contained in a letter dated November 30, 2007 from Murray Kpelow, MD, MS (Comm), FRCPC, Chief Executive of ACCME.
Most remarkable is the fact that the SPSA has received “exemplary compliance commendation” on two (2.2 and 2.4 areas) of the Essentials in the Educational Planning and Evaluation Process.
